After each session, I provide the client with a recording and a transcript of the hypnosis session and emphasize the importance of listening to the recording repeatedly. I also advise them to write down the process, subconscious answers, and their own experience and feelings from the hypnosis. This repeated absorption and digestion of the hypnosis process is crucial to maintaining a strong connection with one's own subconscious.
When a client takes responsibility for their own progress and diligently follows this advice, listening to the hypnosis recording repeatedly, they will experience significant changes in all areas of their life in a short period of time. In fact, many clients continue to listen to the recording even months or years after the hypnosis session, savoring the wisdom from their subconscious. With this guidance from within, and life experiences, they will continue to gain even more insight from each hypnosis session.
However, some clients do not understand the importance of repeatedly listening to the hypnosis recording. When they encounter similar problems, pain, or confusion in their lives or thoughts, they would rather seek answers from the hypnotherapist than listen to the recording again. Essentially, this is still an external search for answers.
I am often asked these questions:
"Was I really hypnotized?"
"Listen to the recording, and you will no longer have this question."
"Did I just make all of that up?"
"When humans use their minds to create stories, they usually create the framework first and then add details. During hypnosis, you and I are both confused when we see the scenes. It is not until we see all the scenes that we understand the meaning of the entire story and how it relates to our current life. So, it is not your mind making things up, but the subconscious revealing information to you."
"I felt very awake throughout the process."
"The hypnosis process is very clear-headed. You are simply no longer using your brain to seek answers from the outside, but instead using your inner awareness to feel and perceive."
"The things my subconscious said seem like things I've thought about before."
"The subconscious often repeats itself; it has already reminded you of many things. The fleeting thoughts you have had in your daily life are your subconscious speaking to you. It's just that you usually ignore it."
"I still experience emotional ups and downs. Do I need to come for another hypnosis session?"
"Listen to the recording first!"
When I ask my clients why they don't listen to the hypnosis recordings, I usually get answers like these:
"I think I remember everything.
" How could you possibly remember everything that was said during a one or two hour hypnosis session? There may also be details that only you know and that were not recorded.
"I don't have time."
Everyone has 24 hours in a day. What could be more important than yourself?
"I've already solved my most pressing issue."
If you want to gain even more insight, you should listen to the recording. When you stand on the foundation of your previous insights and look back, you will gain even deeper insights.
"I don't like the sound of my voice on the recording."
You need to accept yourself and listen to the recording more often, and eventually, you will come to like your own voice.
"The recording is too long."
If you really don't have time, you can skip the past life regression part and focus on the part where you talk to your subconscious mind.
"I don't want to relive the process so intensely."
Our insights come from reflecting on our experiences. Reflection is the source of our own consciousness and wisdom. (Reference: "Westworld" plot - which update awakened these artificial beings?)
"The advice from my subconscious mind is too difficult to follow."
If you listen to the recording again, you will feel more empowered to follow the advice.
Most hypnosis recordings are one or two hours long, and who can remember everything that was said during that time? The purpose of listening to the recording is not to remember every answer, but to feel the energy field, which is a process of directly supplementing energy. Each time you listen again, your body is re-nourished and re-energized.
Some clients ask me to review and summarize the hypnosis process for them, but this is not conducive to their personal growth. Furthermore, providing on-the-spot answers to clients who have already completed hypnosis only provides them with psychological comfort and a sense of security. However, repeating certain answers for them is not the ultimate solution.
The answers and the path are already there, the light and love are already there, and what you need to do is accept them as a part of yourself.
